Fishing Stories, Introspection and Being Happy.

By Twitman at 02/03/10 10:46

To be happy live in Costa Rica [that must be the best joke of the year]... but maybe if you go Fishing (NOT at a 5 star joint) and end with some time for a bit of introspection... you can figure out how to be happy.

  1. Costa Rican Sloths
RT @EcoInteractive: So Cool - Sloths of Costa Rica Video: Sloth Sanctuary (@mathematrix)

Tweedle Dee says: Let's hope Americans don't decide that three toed sloths are cool exotic pets.. .like iguanas!

Tweedle Dum says: Hey we have those here in America. Only...they aren't covered with fur, but they act the same! They move slowly, don't do much, but are the primary consumers. What are they called? Couch potatoes

  1. Costa Rica is an animal lover’s paradise | costaricaviews.com
RT @Costa_Rica_View: New blog post: Costa Rica is an animal lover’s paradise (@ITCompanies)

Tweedle Dee says: A good article for the monkey lover in you!

Tweedle Dum says: I just can't stop thinking about the mammal article about Costa Rica. Note all the furry little animal visitors are usually something besides mammals. Why no cats or dogs or even a bear? They ate them all!

  2. Off The Beaten Track Caribbean Beaches Of Costa Rica: From Columbus To You | Travel and Destinations
RT @TripsnTravels: Off The Beaten Track Caribbean Beaches Of Costa Rica: From ... (@travelxpert)

Tweedle Dee says: Over hyped article about Costa Rica with 3 spamish comments.

Tweedle Dum says: Isn't it a little funny to compare the statement in b. with the statement in d.? I want to know how they determined that Costa Rica was the happiest place on earth. Pretty beaches, yes

  3. Costa Rica - Mammals
Attn @malisadanielle RT @EliteTravelGal: RT @costaricadotcom: Costa Rica is home to 4 species of monkeys- learn (@BeccaMeyers)

Tweedle Dee says: Some nice photos of wildlife in Costa Rica with a bit of descriptive text. Reads more like a text book than something for tourists for expats.

Tweedle Dum says: Well I guess nobody interviewed the mammals when they determined Costa Rica is the happiest place on the globe. Looks to me like if bats make up almost half of the 250 species of mammals they have left, Costa Ricans must be pretty happy because they ate all the mammals up!

  4. Sport Fishing - Costa Rica's Jurassic Park
Sport Fishing Mag: Marina Papagayo is Costa Rica's Jurassic Park, the resort offers pristine jungle & wide-open fishing (@katherinejulia)

Tweedle Dee says: Five star fishing joint sounds like a lot of tourists... I've always found the joy in fishing to be the opportunity to be alone, quietly in nature. A time for introspection and with luck a yummy fresh dinner too.

Tweedle Dum says: I see a great fishing story but not much about the marina/resort complex they have the first line about.
