The best way to learn much about a country without personal visiting it is through people who already have. They can tell you so much about the Costa Rican landscape in a way that is more honest than any real estate agent will tell you.
Don't know anybody who has gone to Costa Rica? We have online forums for that particular purpose. Here's one at VacationCity.com
