San Jose, Costa Rica, is now an American expatriate's permanent home. He actually considers himself as one of the locals and would prefer if one were to call him a Costa Rican.
One can read more about this "Costa Rican's" thoughts on learning the language of his new country, as well as the culture that is present.
There is a detailed listing of his thought from where he was born, to which country and city does he reside, and even the length of time that he has spent in Costa Rica, as well.
We are seeing more North Americans than ever coming to check out Costa Rica. I think many are looking for a simpler less stressful life and with Costa Rica being ranked the happiest nation on the planet, more unhappy Americans are heading there to find a better quality of life.
