Community Participation for Costa Rica

Be an active part of our Costa Rica community

The Costa Rica Expat Blog is offering you the opportunity to become a part of our online Costa Rica Community and give or receive thoughts, experiences, knowledge, interests, advice, or information relating to Costa Rica. You can also increase people's awareness about a current website or blog, or even a business you may have relating to Costa Rica life, culture, expat and more.

By becoming a member of our online community, you will be given the opportunity to do several things...all of which are free. The only thing you give and receive in return for being a part of this community is expert advice, views or information that relates to Costa Rica. As an active participant of our community, you can also bring people closer to your own business or blog by demonstrating your experience and expertise.

There are really two groups that can benefit from participating in our community; which are individuals seeking to give valuable opinions and information, and businesses who seek to promote their website or company.

Individuals:

If you lived in or are moving to, have vacationed or worked in Costa Rica, or maybe just have an interest in Costa Rica, this would be the perfect opportunity for you to give to or receive knowledge from others having the same interests. If you are a current resident or an expat of Costa Rica, perhaps you want to educate people about the culture, opportunities, or even negative experiences in Costa Rica.

This opportunity would be fantastic for those who already have a blog, as you can write a little blurb on Costa Rica Expat Blog about interesting topics regarding Costa Rica you have written in your own blog, to reach and help a wider audience than your own blog could do alone.

Businesses:

For the companies or people who offer travel and other services relating to those interesting in visiting, moving to or living in Costa Rica, this could be the perfect opportunity to reach a much larger audience than could have been achieved by regular advertising or just having your own website.

You could write a short article about various destinations, procedures for those visiting or considering a move, products available to people locally in, or experiences about life or travel in Costa Rica.

This is a great format in which to showcase links to your blogs, projects, business and other interesting websites, and develop publicity for your expertise, while at the same time, satisfying the need of others who are striving to learn about the very topics you are sharing.

People need to be able to have information to make decisions, whether they are life decisions or even purchase decisions. Let's build a community of experts to help others, share information, and even promote businesses. If you live there, you are an expert. If you are an expat, you are an expert. If you have a product or business that will help someone relative to Costa Rica, you are an expert. That is all it takes to build a community such as this.

The only rule for posting your information on Costa Rica Expat Blog is that the post must be 100% original and MUST be about Costa Rica. It doesn't even have to be very long. If you write just a couple interesting paragraphs every week, you could develop tremendous interest.

Don't copy information directly from your website or blog or even someone else's word for word. You can take that information you want to present and just write ABOUT it if you are reflecting from a website or blog. Content must be fresh off your mind and not fresh off another website. Unique content benefits everyone involved, especially if you are promoting your blog or website. This will afford you an arena for "self promotion" that stands out from all the low quality junk out there. Aren't you tired of constantly running across the same boring, duplicated content?

Posting regularly will build that sense of expertise that we are all looking for when we want more information about any particular subject. That means that by posting regularly, people start taking notice of your views and will start to look to you for more help in making whatever decision they are facing.

The Costa Rica Expat Blog welcomes you in becoming a member of our Costa Rica community. Let's start making our community grow with your own wealth of knowledge and experience and help others learn about Costa Rica.

You can start now by making your first post about Costa Rica, with or without a link, or emailing if you have a question or need specific assistance. If your knowledge is not relative to Costa Rica, please view our other expat communities.
