Security, Biodiversity, Marketing Boredom, Politics, and Surfing

By Twitman at 02/07/10 04:24

Why isn't anyone actually writing a blog about their personal experiences in Costa Rica and promoting it on twitter?

  1. YouTube - Costa rica hotel fail
    Costa rica hotel fail #videos #youtube (@VideosCostaRica)

Tweedle Dee says: "Dead bolted door in costa rica hotel easily open allowing access to total strangers!" The really sad thing about this video is only 5 people have viewed it.

The video CLEARLY shows the type of workmanship that is common through out Costa Rica. If more people saw this video.. they might realize that "paradise" is a strange place indeed!

Tweedle Dum says: What? Is that what all the doors are like in Costa Rica, or just one place? I was not amused

Wellness Community, Eco Tourists, Beaches, and NASA Spy Planes

By Twitman at 02/06/10 08:19

NASA Spy Planes invade the earth... getting married in Costa Rica and a few other websites today....

  1. Costa Rica vacation - Costa Rica Marriage
You can't make a better choice for a destination wedding than one in Costa Rica... (@VTGservices)

Tweedle Dee says: A good overview of the documents you'll need to get married in Costa Rica... Two foreigners getting married, rather than a foreigner getting married to a Costa Rica; I think. The article isn't quite clear on that, or I missed it.

Tweedle Dum says: Don't count on the rules staying the same. I think it is all a matter of who you know that can get things done.

Real Estate, Snakes and Driving

By Twitman at 02/04/10 20:27

Here is a brilliant idea... enjoy the snakes but forget about buying real estate or renting/drive a car in Costa Rica.

  1. The Snakes of Costa Rica
RT @Eco_Costa_Rica The Snakes of Costa Rica (@Eco_Adventures)

Tweedle Dee says: Poisonous snakes... that is what the tour guides near Arenal Volcano used to try and scare us into a tour rather than entering the park by ourselves.

    Didn't see any snakes.

Tweedle Dum says: Nice colorful pictures. I like learning about animals of the world

Try to blend in with the locals

02/03/10 12:00
It is so very easy for one to spot a tourist, and to do so even from a mile away. It is something that people know about, the world over.

Fishing Stories, Introspection and Being Happy.

By Twitman at 02/03/10 10:46

To be happy live in Costa Rica [that must be the best joke of the year]... but maybe if you go Fishing (NOT at a 5 star joint) and end with some time for a bit of introspection... you can figure out how to be happy.

  1. Costa Rican Sloths
RT @EcoInteractive: So Cool - Sloths of Costa Rica Video: Sloth Sanctuary (@mathematrix)

Tweedle Dee says: Let's hope Americans don't decide that three toed sloths are cool exotic pets.. .like iguanas!

Tweedle Dum says: Hey we have those here in America. Only...they aren't covered with fur, but they act the same! They move slowly, don't do much, but are the primary consumers. What are they called? Couch potatoes

Leatherback Turtles, How to Twitter, Safety, Cheap Tours, Yoga, Spanish and POI

By Twitman at 02/01/10 12:00

Lots of cool stuff with too many lacklusters websites and Tweede Dee and Tweedle Dum seem to dislike the same stuff for different reasons!

  1. Record birthrate of leatherback turtles in Costa Rica
Record birthrate of leatherback turtles in Costa Rica RT @Eco_Costa_Rica (@Eco_Adventures)

Tweedle Dee says: Protecting the leather back turtles of Costa Rica

Tweedle Dum says: Such an expanse of webpage in white to surround a tiny little article. not very visually appealing.
